What To Wear When Working From Home
Working from home. It’s something most of us dream of – being able to send emails from your living room in your pyjamas and endless cups of tea. As tempting as it can be to throw on your joggers and a jumper each morning, it is probably not the wisest of options. During these unprecedented times, if you are self-isolating or now working from home, it is crucial to hold on to some of the little things that we take for granted on a daily basis. This period may seem strange, almost alien to most of us but one way we can have a little normality in our lives is by putting our work clothes on in the morning and holding on to as much of our usual routine as possible.
Getting up in the morning and getting dressed helps us prepare for the day ahead, both mentally and physically. It’s understandable that you most likely don’t want to put a suit on every morning to stay indoors but there are ways you can look and feel smart with minimal effort and most importantly – maximum comfort. If a spontaneous conference call catches you off guard you want to be sure that you are still maintaining your professional and smart style. You certainly don’t want your boss to see those pyjamas you got last Christmas!
Here are some of our tips on how to stay smart, stay safe and stay comfortable when working from home. We truly are all in this together and we’re here for you. If you haven’t yet, sign up for our newsletter here and follow us on our social media channels to keep in touch. Stay safe everyone.
